2015 Chess Tournament Results

ResultsThe Port Huron Schools Phil Willard Memorial Chess Tournament was held on Saturday, March 28, 2015 at Port Huron High School.

Ninety-five (95) students participated in the tournament. Each student will receive a certificate of participation.

The 1" place winners in each grade received a trophy, and are as follows:

Kindergarten: Katie Arundel- Keewahdin

1st grade: Quenton Pasia -Thomas Edison

2nd grade: Jacob Ayotte- Thomas Edison

3rd grade: Luke Maher - Michigamme

4th grade: Nathaniel Oriel- Indian Woods

5th grade: Aiden Pasia -Thomas Edison

6th grade: Benjamin Dedic- Holland Woods

7th grade: Jack Hollingsworth- Holland Woods

8th grade: Neehal Tumma- Fort Gratiot

9th grade: Adam Nowiski- Port Huron High School

10th grade: Ethan Albany- Port Huron High School

11th grade: Jacob Quigley- Port Huron High School

12th Grade: no participants

A huge thank you to parents, chess club coordinators, Port Huron Chess Club members, and other volunteers that made the event very successful.
