Destination Imagination State Tournament Results
Destination Imagination Update:

Six Port Huron Area Destination Imagination teams competed this weekend at the State Tournament in Mount Pleasant, Michigan - at CMU. It was a great weekend and every student represented our school district in a positive light.

Of the six teams that competed, three of them placed.

The Fort Gratiot grade 7 team competing in the Improvisational Challenge, coached by Julie Haynes, place 5th.

The Fort Gratiot grade 6 team competing in the Science Challenge, coached by Natalie Adair & Kathy Patterson, placed 1st and will be representing the state of Michigan at the International competition called Global Finals that is held at the University of Tennessee May 27th - 30th.

The PHN grade 11/12 team competing in the Science Challenge, coached by Becky Lubbers, placed first and will be attending Global Finals May 27 - 30.

The PHN team also received a Renaissance Award for their story and props. A description of the award can be found on the web site.

One member of this team, Braeden Houle, also receive a Destination Imagination scholarship.
