The Blue Water Area Chamber proudly announces the winners of the second annual Eddy Awards. The event was attended by a sold out crowd of 300 people to witness the first event hosted in the new CityFlats Hotel Ballroom.

The Bridges Award (a means of connection): community service award
● A Little Something
● EBW.tv - WINNER
● Sherry Archibald - Port Huron City Council and St. Clair County Child Abuse/Neglect
Council, Inc.

The Fort Award (a fortified place that provides strength): small business award (there was a tie in the voting - so there are four finalists):
● Andy Bakko - Wolverine Market Port Huron
● Grand Trunk Marketplace
● Larry Jones - Landmark Management - WINNER
● Suzanne's Fashions

The Lighthouse Award (beacon of the community): large business award
● Chemical Bank
● Port Huron Schools - WINNER
● YMCA of the Blue Water Area

The Light Bulb Award (persistent and optimistic inventor): Innovative award
● Matt Brooks - The Roost - WINNER
● Carol Hall - The Hallway Headquarters
● Steve Fernandez and Michele Jones - Country Style Marketplace/3:10 to Huron

The Chamber Choice (most joyful, kind-hearted friend of the Chamber)
● Jorja Baldwin/Kristy Jones - Ft. Gratiot Township - WINNER
● Michele Hayre - Chef Shell’s
● Jim Hollenbeck - Blue Moon Abatement

The BWACC once again received just over 100 nominations for local professional
individuals, organizations and businesses for this year’s Eddy Awards.
