Sports Physicals Our district and district partner McLaren Port Huron care about our student athletes. Reminder to all student athletes: You must have a sports physical on file dated after April 15, 2022 to try out and participate in 2022-23 school year sports. Students who do not have updated physicals on file will not be eligible to try out. You may bring an updated physical with you on the first day of tryouts, August 8, 2022. These are our local McLaren options for scheduling appointments. If there are any issues with transportation or cost for physicals, please contact your school’s athletic director.

Port Huron Schools is hosting elementary, middle and high school summer school programming made possible through grant funding. Through the success of the high school programs, several students (almost one a day) have been able to earn their diplomas and will be noted as graduating with their classmates in 2022. This is a huge milestone for these students and we are very proud of their commitment and determination.

Friends of the St. Clair River challenges 5th grade students every year to submit a Sturgeon Story poster that showcases their knowledge of the Lake Sturgeon by means of art, song, diagram, or poetry. They received over 300 poster entries from 5th graders across St. Clair County and narrowed it down to 13 finalists. Finalists were chosen for their creativity and content related to Lake Sturgeon conservation. Each of the posters will be on display at the Blue Water Sturgeon Festival on June 4 for the public to vote on. It's up to the community to select the top three winners by virtual donations now or with pocket change at the festival on June 4. The top three winners will receive a prize package and see their art included in Friends of the St. Clair River's 2023 Sturgeon Celebration Calendar. Three of the finalists are from #1PHASD! - Brooklyn Emigh, Michigamme - Khloe Faust, Michigamme - Collin Robinson, Crull View the finalists and vote here: https://www.scriver.org/our-programs/sturgeon-festival/sturgeon-stories/
