Port Huron Northern Varsity Baseball defeated Warren Mott 16-2 yesterday.  Ty Fletcher led the Huskies to victory by driving in five runs. Fletcher drove in runs on a groundout in the second, a single in the third, and a double in the fifth.   Ryan Forlastro earned the victory on the mound for the Huskies. Nick Shrader and Taylor Falls entered the game out of the bullpen and helped to close out the game in relief.  Huskies tallied 11 hits in the game.  Fletcher, Shrader, and Alex Armstrong each had multiple hits for the Huskies.  Fletcher went 3-for-4 at the plate to lead the Huskies in hits. Jared McRobie led Huskies with two stolen bases, as they ran wild on the base paths with eight stolen bases. Great game played by all!! Congrats.  Be sure to come out and cheer on the boys at the first home doubleheader on Friday April 14th at 4 pm versus Yale here at Northern ball field.
