Vinny Montgomery has achieved a New School Record for the United Swim and Dive Team for Diving twice this week. First on Monday against Lamphere with a 119.95. Then tonight he broke it again with a 122.95 for our Center Line Meet. Congratulations Vinny on this remarkable achievement! Go RED DOGS
Wednesday - Carnation Sale - Love is in the air! The LEAD Team is hosting a Carnation fundraiser to celebrate Valentine's day! Pay two dollars during your lunch TODAY through Friday this week, write a cute note on our tag, and we will deliver your note and a flower to your special person on Valentines Day next Tuesday!

February is Black History Month!
Dr. William H. Hastie was a lawyer for the Department of Interior. In 1950, he became the first Black judge in United States history and used his status to discuss issues of racism and segregation. He was then appointed by Roosevelt to serve as governor of the Virgin Islands, making him the first Black governor to serve a full term in America. We will conclude with a quote by Dr. William H. Hastie, “History informs us of past mistakes from which we can learn without repeating them. It also inspires us and gives confidence and hope, bred of victories already won”.
